Hi Everyone!

If you’re a subscriber to my newsletter, you’ll know that I recently signed up for this mobile home park investing course. And if you’re part of the private Facebook group, you’ll know I enjoyed the class and promised a review. So here it is! :)

(Note: Before going into this type of investment, be sure to check out my video on mobile homes vs mobile home parks. Thanks for watching!)

What I Liked About the Course

The Cost

Let’s face it: Mobile home park investing courses are not cheap. Personally, I get contacted all the time from people asking what I think of this course or that course on the subject asking if the thousands of dollars they cost are worth it.

And to tell you the truth, I’ve known people who have bought mobile home parks (as well as mobile homes) who have never taken a course on the subject in their lives. Recently, one of my personal mentors even bought a park…without even going through a course. So, go figure!

With that being said, I still do value education. But I feel the cost needs to be reasonable and fair (which is by the way the reason I give people options who need help with mobile home investing).

So what I liked about this course on mobile home park investing was the low cost and value it added. It provided good information for the money.

The Presentation and Instructor

In this day and age, anyone can put together a course and post it for sale on the web. Anyone…which can be a good thing or a bad thing.

Unfortunately, not anyone can be a good presenter. Not anyone can have the technical know-how to make a presentation engaging while at the same time projecting a high production value.

To be honest, many courses I see online (especially on real estate investing) have very low production value. The information is there but the way the information is delivered can be a major turnoff. Remember, it’s not so much what you say but how you say it that counts.

With this course, I found it to be very informative while at the same time keeping me engaged with how the information was presented. Plus, I found the instructor to have a very natural way of speaking and very knowledgeable on the subject.

The Information

OK, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty. Was it informative? Or was the class just a waste of time? And my answer…

Honestly, it was really good. And for the cost, I don’t think you can beat it. Here’s why:

Even with my experience as a mobile home investor (over a decade in the industry), there were some tips and tricks (aka shortcuts) that were very new to me. These small tidbits of information are golden to new and experienced investors alike.

Apart from the tips and tricks, the information was explained very well. The instructor went into the process of buying and acquiring mobile home parks including an in-depth section on due diligence and how to value mobile home parks to purchase. I especially found the area on financing very interesting. The instructor had a lot of useful information to say on the subject.

Resources Available

What’s great about the course is the ability to come back at anytime and take it again…at no charge, for as long as the course is available.

If you think about it, how many mobile home park investing courses offer this option? And even if they did, would you have to travel on a specific date when the course would be offered again (as many are in person)? Travel requires money. So it wouldn’t necessarily be completely free.

With this class, it’s available to you…at your convenience. Plus, you’re offered the option to download a copy of the presentation at the end of the course. Can it get any better?

The only thing the course does not offer are examples of forms and paperwork needed to purchase and acquire mobile home parks. Though, the instructor says throughout the class you will need to contact an attorney in your area since laws do vary.

(Note: If you’re interested, some books on mobile home park investing include sample forms. Though, it’s always best to have these forms looked at by an attorney in your area before using them.)

My Verdict

Overall, I was very satisfied with the course. The cost, presentation and instructor, information and resources available all made it a very worthwhile experience and good value for my money.

If you’ve been thinking about investing in mobile home parks but are on the fence about spending thousands of dollars on a course, this class is for you.

Even if you’ve been in the industry for years and you think you’re ready to bite the bullet and purchase mobile home parks, I’d still recommend you take this course. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did. Personally, I’m happy I made the decision to take the class.
